I put this out way earlier than I normally decorate because honestly I couldn’t wait until October. My sister came over with her kids and within maybe 30 seconds everyone was standing around watching the broom move like WHAT IS THAT. The kids kept following it from room to room and my sister immediately pulled out her phone and asked me to send her the link. Then my neighbor came in later that night and did the exact same thing 😂. It looks way better in person than I expected too. We had friends over and the broom was moving around the living room when they walked in. The reaction was hilarious. One of them actually stopped in the doorway and said, “Wait… is that thing moving by itself??” Everyone wanted to know where it came from. Even my husband, who usually thinks I buy too many decorations, admitted this one was worth it. Shipping was also quicker than I expected and everything arrived in good condition. I’m already thinking about buying another one for upstairs.
Okay I’m 19 and bought this mostly because I thought it would look funny moving around our apartment. Did NOT expect everyone to lose their minds over it 😭. We had people over Saturday and literally every new person who walked in asked about the broom before anything else. One girl thought I had some kind of hidden remote controlling it. Another friend was trying to figure out how it worked for like 10 minutes LOL. The sounds make it even funnier, but I like that you can lower the volume or shut them off when you want. It feels surprisingly solid too. Definitely not something I expected to become the main attraction in our place.
This thing has gotten comments from basically every single person who has walked into our house. Friends, family, neighbors, even the delivery driver saw it moving through the entryway when I opened the door and asked me where I got it 😂. The best part is how confused people are for the first few seconds. Their brain is trying to understand why a witch broom is just casually roaming around the floor. I’ve had probably 6 or 7 people ask me for the link already. Mine arrived pretty fast and I had a question about the setup, so I messaged support. They answered way faster than I thought they would and got me sorted out.
My husband told me it was “way too early for Halloween decorations.” That lasted until about five minutes after I turned this thing on. Now he’s the one showing it to everybody 😂. We had his parents over and his dad just stood there staring at it before asking, “How is that broom moving?” Then he started laughing and wanted to know where he could order one. I’m a firm believer that it is NEVER too early to start Halloween, especially when something is this fun. The broom looks really nice up close too. The handle and bristles don’t look cheap. This is easily one of those decorations people actually remember.
We first used it with the included moving base and loved it, but attaching it to our robot vacuum took it to another level. Watching a witch broom glide around the house while the vacuum is doing its normal cleaning is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. Our friends genuinely thought we had modified the vacuum ourselves. One guy kept saying “no way this is an actual product” and made me show him the adapter. He ordered one while he was still sitting on our couch LOL. The broom feels well made and the adapter held surprisingly securely on our vacuum. Such a clever idea.
I like that I can use the included moving base when I want the spooky effect, then swap to my robot vacuum when I want it roaming around the whole room.
Bought one for myself and another for my sister before mine even arrived. The free webs, spiders and warning tape were a nice bonus because I used them around the entryway display.
People assume it is just decor until it moves. That little delay before they notice is exactly what makes it so funny. Easily my favorite indoor Halloween decoration this year.
